# Terms of Service Welcome to Yaffi — an iOS app that organizes and enriches your Apple Reminders using AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Yaffi. They explain your rights and responsibilities, what you can expect from us, and important limitations of the service. **By using Yaffi, you agree to be bound by these Terms.** If you do not agree, you must not use the service. What Yaffi Does (and Doesn't Do) Yaffi watches the Apple Reminders you allow it to access, classifies new reminders with AI, moves them to a fitting list, and adds helpful content: cleaned-up titles, buying tips and shopping links, addresses and opening hours, short how-to steps, and where-to-watch information. Every change is recorded in a timeline and can be undone. Yaffi's suggestions are generated by AI and by automated web lookups. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date — for example, opening hours change and streaming catalogs rotate. **Always verify information that matters before relying on it.** Yaffi is an organizational tool, not a source of professional advice of any kind. ## 2. Who Can Use the Service Yaffi is intended for users aged 16 and older. If you're younger than that, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian. No account or registration exists. Your use of the service must comply with all applicable laws in your country. ## 3. Using Yaffi You're welcome to use Yaffi to organize your own reminders. Please don't misuse the service. That means: * Don't try to break, reverse engineer, or overload the service. * Don't use the service to process content that is illegal or that you have no right to process. * Don't attempt to circumvent quotas or rate limits. We reserve the right to block access (by device or network) if the service is abused or if required by law. ## 4. Free Plan, Credits, and Yaffi Pro The free plan includes 10 enriched reminders per month plus a one-time tidy-up of up to 10 existing reminders. One credit corresponds to one enriched reminder. **Yaffi Pro** is an auto-renewing subscription (500 credits per month) purchased through the Apple App Store at $4.99/month or $39.99/year (prices may vary by region and are shown in the App Store before purchase). Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage and cancel it in your App Store account settings. Apple's standard terms and refund policies apply to purchases. When your credits run out, queued reminders wait visibly until the next month or an upgrade — nothing is deleted. ## 5. Service Availability and Changes Yaffi is maintained by a single developer. We do our best to keep it available and stable, but we don't guarantee uptime or uninterrupted service. There may be bugs, outages, or updates. We may update or change features over time. If we ever need to shut Yaffi down entirely, we'll do our best to notify users in advance through the app. Your reminders always remain yours, in Apple Reminders — Yaffi never holds your data hostage, because it never holds your data at all. ## 6. Your Privacy Yaffi has no accounts and stores no reminder content on its servers. Disclaimer of Warranty To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yaffi is provided **"as is" and "as available"**, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that: * The app will work perfectly or without error at all times * AI classifications, titles, notes, or links will always be accurate or complete * Your use of the service will be uninterrupted or secure You use Yaffi at your own risk. ## 8. Limitation of Liability To the extent permitted by applicable law, we (Vitalii Rizo and any persons involved in operating the service) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, missed or mis-scheduled reminders, incorrect enrichment content, purchases made via linked shops, or third-party actions. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Yaffi shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or €100 (one hundred euros), whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law. If you qualify as a consumer under mandatory consumer protection laws (e.g. in the EU), your statutory rights remain unaffected to the extent that they cannot be lawfully limited. ## 9. Affiliate Disclosure Shopping links generated for "buy" reminders may carry an Amazon affiliate tag. If you buy something through such a link, we may earn a commission. This costs you nothing and does not influence which products the link searches for. ## 10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise or give you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also be entitled to use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. ## 11. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. We will post the updated Terms and update the "last modified" date.
